Drive several profiles at once with the Synchronizer
Mirror what you do in one browser window into the others: clicks, typing, scrolling and pointer movement, plus text, tab and window actions from the console.
Guide · 3 min read
The Synchronizer turns one open profile into the main window and repeats what you do in it in the other open profiles you choose. It is for doing the same thing in many accounts at once: signing in, filling the same form, scrolling the same feed.
Before you start
- Two or more profiles open. The Synchronizer only drives browsers that are already running.
1. Start a session
- On the Profiles page, open the profiles you want to drive, tick them, and choose Start sync in the bar above the table. Start sync needs at least two open profiles among the ticked ones; hover over it to see why it is not available.
- The Synchronizer page opens with those profiles listed. The first one is the Main window; choose Set Main Window on another row to drive from that one instead.
- Choose Start Sync.
What you should see
Whatever you do in the main window now happens in the others: a click lands in the same place, typing goes into the same field, and scrolling moves them together.
Choose Stop Sync to end the session. The browsers stay open.
2. Arrange the windows
The Windows tab of the Console sorts the browsers on your screen so you can watch them all.
- Tile Windows (Ctrl+Alt+Z) sizes and places every selected window in the arrangement chosen in Settings: a grid, side by side, or overlapped.
- Uniform Size gives every window the main window's size, where it already is.
- View windows brings them all to the front.
3. Send text and manage tabs
The Text tab types for you, which is faster and less error prone than typing in the main window and mirroring it.
- Identical text: type it once and choose Input to all windows to put the same text in the focused field of every window.
- Designated text: one line per window, so each account gets its own value. Distribution decides which line goes where: Order, Random or Specific.
- Paste text and Clear text work on the focused field of every window.
The Tabs tab acts on the tabs of every window: Same tabs opens the main window's pages in the others, Visit website opens the addresses you list, and Close other tabs, Close current tab and Close blank tabs tidy up. The last tab of a window is never closed.
4. Settings
Settings, at the top of the Console, holds everything that shapes a session.
- What is synchronised: Keyboard (typing) and Mouse (clicks, scrolling, pointer movement). Turn off what you do not want mirrored. A running session reads these when it starts, so stop and start it again after changing them.
- Simulate actions: Typing delay waits a random time between the two values, in milliseconds, before each window types, so the windows do not all act on the same instant. Click delay waits a fixed time before each window acts.
- Text input: Replace the text already in the field selects what the field holds first, so the text replaces it instead of being added after it.
- Window layout: the monitor and the arrangement Tile Windows uses.
- Humanise: varies where each click lands by a few pixels in each window.
Good to know
- Each window keeps its own profile, cookies and proxy. The Synchronizer repeats actions; it does not share anything between profiles.
- Pages that look different in different accounts (another language, an extra pop-up) can put a mirrored click in the wrong place. Watch the windows, and use Designated text for anything that differs per account.
