Settings

Settings

What each page of Settings does: your account and team, appearance, the defaults new profiles get, this computer's own settings, the Browser Queue, storage, Cloud Sync, updates and diagnostics.

Open Settings

Settings is the last entry in the sidebar, under System. Its pages are listed down the left of the Settings card; choose one to open it.

Account and Team

Account shows who is signed in and lets you sign out. Team, for owners and admins, lists the members and invitations of your organisation, their roles and the workspaces they can open.

Appearance

Theme chooses light, dark, or System to follow your computer. Interface language changes every screen, dates included. Interface density sets how tall table rows are.

Profile Preferences

The defaults every new profile in this workspace starts with, on this computer: its group, tags, proxy and start pages (General), its browser version, region and fingerprint choices (Fingerprint), and the bookmarks it opens with (Bookmarks). Existing profiles are never changed unless you choose Apply to existing profiles.

Local settings

Choices for this computer only, never exported or synced, such as starting with the sidebar collapsed.

Browser Queue

Every Open of two or more profiles runs here. Follow the batch, pause it, resume it or cancel what has not opened yet, and set how many browsers start at once.

Open many profiles at once

Downloads & Storage

Shows where PowerOps keeps its data and how much disposable cache all profiles hold together. Clear cache removes the browser cache of every closed profile and PowerOps' own downloads, then says how much it freed. Cookies, sign-ins and profile data are never touched, and open profiles are skipped.

Cloud Sync

Whether profile sessions are synced between your computers, and the state of the last sync.

Use Cloud Sync between computers

Updates, Diagnostics and About

Updates checks for a new PowerOps and installs it. Diagnostics copies or exports a redacted report (no passwords, tokens or browsing data) to send to support. About shows the version running.

Try it on your own computer

PowerOps is a Windows download. Install it, sign in with your ArticleOps account, and the getting started guide takes you from there to your first open profile.
