Profiles

Share or move profiles to another workspace

Copy profiles into another workspace you belong to, keeping the originals, or move them so they live only in the destination.

Guide · 1 min read

Share and Move both put a copy of each profile, with its device identity, proxy, account and cookies, into another workspace. Share keeps the originals where they are. Move removes the originals once the copies are safely in the destination.

Before you start

  • You belong to both workspaces. The destination list only offers workspaces you can open.
  • Close the profiles first. An open profile is skipped and listed afterwards with the reason.

1. Select the profiles

  1. On the Profiles page, tick the profiles to share or move.
  2. Choose Share in the bar above the table.

What you should see

The Share profiles dialog lists the profiles you picked.

2. Choose Share or Move, and the workspace

  1. Under What to do, leave Share selected to keep the originals, or choose Move to remove them afterwards. The line under the choice says which.
  2. Under Workspace, choose the destination.
  3. Choose Share (or Move).

What you should see

A progress line counts the profiles copied. When it ends, a message such as 3 profiles shared to Seramo appears, and the copies are in the destination workspace's Profiles list.

You can choose Close and continue while it runs; it finishes in the background and tells you when it is done.

Good to know

  • Sharing a profile the destination already has does not make a second copy; it is reported as already there.
  • If anything needs your attention, such as an original a move could not remove or a copy that is waiting for Cloud Sync, the result lists exactly which profiles and why.
  • To hand profiles to someone outside your workspaces, use Export instead.
